This Art Nouveau-flavored Kitty is a new direction for me. I'm using layers of fabric shapes in wonderful colors to build an Art Nouveau design framing his smilin' kitty face.
His face is from a leafy green fabric.
Built on a background of a classic end-paper marbled print.
Surrounded by swirling shapes of purples and magentas, reminiscent of the Art Nouveau flavor.
The borders around this quilt are of a deep blue dyed fabric.
The fabric on the back is a deep blue cotton fabric with a tiny geometric pattern. This quilt has a channel at the top and bottom to insert rods for hanging. I've tied a pretty gold cord to the ends of the top rod for hanging. |
